I offer a wide range of educational consulting and counseling services, including PSAT/SAT/ACT/AP exam prep, subject tutoring, college list building, essay coaching, application package review, and supplemental document translation from Chinese to English. I'm a recent Cornell graduate who studied Computer Science and Philosophy in college and is currently working as a professional Chinese-to-English linguist. I have tested at the 4+/5 level on the ILR scale of proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (equivalent to or possibly higher than CEFR C2 and ACTFL D). I'm passionate about helping high school students find their direction and stand out in their college applications. My approach helped me attend my dream school right out of Early Decision, and I'm confident that it will help others get into their dream schools too.

Our services are highly personalized and time-consuming. We firmly believe that your application is a reflection of your humanity, and we do not use artificial intelligence for any part of any service we offer. I review every single essay and application by hand.
Additionally, for our essay revision, document translation, application review, and application management services, I'm the only person you'll be working with — no need to worry about getting assigned to less competent agents, as sometimes happens at larger college consulting firms.
As a result, spots for these services are highly limited every application cycle, and once they are filled I do not take any additional students in order to ensure the quality of my work.

30-minute consultation: 40USD, credited towards purchase of any non-translation service.
SAT/ACT tutoring: 60USD/hour
Subject tutoring: 70USD/hour
Application review: 400USD+80USD/school-specific application
Application management: From 800USD+150USD for fourth school-specific application and beyond
Application advising: 60USD/hour
Document translation: 30USD per 100 characters/words, rounded to nearest hundred; 30USD minimum charge. 100% rush fee applies for deadlines within a week.
Essay revisions: 150USD/essay
Essay rewrites: 250USD/essay

We primarily accept payment via credit card. Payment for consultations is made at time of scheduling, and payment must be provided before any services will be rendered.
